HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Wednesday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chevy Cruz driven by a 17-year-old Bethany girl was northbound on MO 146 six miles southeast of Bethany. The driver lost control of the car on a curve. The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, traveled through a yard and struck a mailbox.
Harrison County EMS transported the teen to Harrison County Community Hospital. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
