ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Jeep Compass driven by a 78-year-old Cosby woman was northbound on Route W one mile southeast of Avenue City. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign, crossed Route O, traveled off the north side of the road, struck a traffic sign, an electric fence and came to rest in a pasture.
A private vehicle transported the driver to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
