The City of St. Joseph, in partnership with Union Pacific Railroad, will temporarily close several roads for pavement approach repairs at railroad crossings in the Stockyards area on March 12 and 13. Motorists should expect detours and traffic control during the work. On March 12, the Industrial Road and Lower Lake Road crossings will be affected, with detours in place. On March 13, Bluff View Drive will be closed for repairs, with alternative routes provided. The project schedule may change due to weather, and drivers are advised to use caution, follow detour signs, and allow extra travel time.
