A St. Joseph arson suspect is set to appear in Buchanan County court after a residential fire resulted in injury and death. Tanetta Smith, 32, allegedly set fire to a residence on March 11, leaving four victims injured and one dead. Surveillance footage identified Smith as the arsonist, showing her walking to a Taco Bell after the incident. Smith is charged with first degree arson and has been denied bond, with her initial court appearance scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
