The Missouri Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Land Learning Foundation, is conducting a wildlife-vehicle collision hotspot study across the state. The study seeks to pinpoint areas with high rates of wildlife-vehicle collisions and implement strategies to decrease crashes and enhance habitat connectivity. This initiative is supported by the Federal Highway Administration Wildlife Crossing Pilot Program.
