The Saint Joseph Symphony is hosting a concert called “Women’s March” at the Missouri Theater to celebrate Women’s History Month. The event will showcase classical music pieces composed by women, including works by Marianna Martines, Jessie Montgomery, Florence Price, and Louise Farrenc. The executive director of the symphony, Nancy Schmidt-Brunson, emphasized the importance of introducing audiences to lesser-known music. The concert will take place this Saturday, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the performance starting at 7 p.m.
