Trenton, Missouri has been officially designated as a Missouri Blue Shield city for 2026 by the Missouri Department of Public Safety. This recognition highlights Trenton’s commitment to public safety, law enforcement support, and community partnerships. This is the second consecutive year that Trenton has received this honor, which was created by Governor Mike Kehoe in 2025. A total of 201 Missouri communities earned the Blue Shield designation this year, with each community receiving a $50,000 grant for law enforcement equipment and training.
