Falls City Nebraska Sanitation has been awarded the bid for waste disposal services over Hamilton Recycling and Disposal in Falls City. Despite a higher price, the council decided to go with Falls City Sanitation due to their years of service and a substantially lower bid. Council member Joe Buckminster’s motion to award the bid to Hamilton Recycling and Disposal was not seconded. The decision was made after comparing the various aspects of the bids, with Falls City Sanitation coming out as the more cost-effective option.
