A Virginia man living in Fort Riley, Kansas, is facing first-degree statutory rape charges after allegedly picking up a 13-year-old girl from Elwood, Kansas, and driving her to St. Joseph, Missouri. Deonne Lamon Stinson, 27, is wanted for arrest in Buchanan County. Stinson began communicating with the victim in the past month, sending sexually explicit messages before engaging in sexual activity multiple times in St. Joseph. The victim disclosed the incidents to police, leading to Stinson’s arrest in Geary County, Kansas, on May 7th. Stinson, who has no known ties to St. Joseph, is currently in custody.
