Dollar Fresh Market in Falls City will be transformed into a full-service Hy-Vee grocery store, with renovations starting on May 26th and construction in June. The project, estimated at $1,130,000, will include upgrades such as a 20-foot meat counter, expanded grocery selections, a deli counter, a specialty candy shop, and more refrigerated and frozen food space. The store’s leadership will remain local, with Clint Sailors as Store Director, and the expansion is expected to create new job opportunities in the community. Falls City EDGE, the City of Falls City, and the Chamber of Commerce are collaborating to support the successful transition and maintain strong local retail services.
